SBX (Sodium Butyl Xanthate)

SBX (Sodium Butyl Xanthate) is a medium-to-strong sulfide flotation collector widely used in copper, lead, zinc, and polymetallic sulfide processing.
Known for its reliable collecting strength, fast adsorption, and broad mineral compatibility, SBX is suitable for rougher and scavenger flotation where strong hydrophobicity and improved recovery are required.

SBX provides stronger collecting power than SIPX and SIBX, making it ideal for moderately oxidized ores, low-grade deposits, and operations requiring enhanced recovery of chalcopyrite, galena, sphalerite (after activation), and gold-associated sulfides.

Engineered for high-tonnage concentrators and complex mineralogy, SBX delivers:
Strong collecting strength with fast adsorption
Improved recovery in copper, lead, zinc, and gold flotation
Better performance in partially oxidized and transition ores
Stable froth behavior in rougher and scavenger stages
Versatile use across multiple base-metal ores
Cost-effective reagent for large-scale flotation operations

SBX is commonly applied in:
• copper flotation (chalcopyrite, bornite)
• lead–zinc and zinc flotation after CuSO₄ activation
• gold–sulfide ores where pyrite carries precious metals
• polymetallic and low-grade sulfide ores
• rougher/scavenger circuits requiring stronger collectors

Z&Z supplies high-quality Sodium Butyl Xanthate (SBX) with consistent purity, safe packaging, and global export support for mining companies and flotation reagent distributors.
