Z200A is an enhanced dithiocarbamate flotation collector offering stronger adsorption, improved selectivity, and superior pyrite rejection for copper, gold, and activated zinc flotation.
Z200A is an enhanced dithiocarbamate-based flotation collector designed for high-selectivity recovery of copper, gold, silver, and activated zinc sulfide ores.
As an upgraded version of traditional Z200, Z200A provides stronger adsorption, improved selectivity, and enhanced performance in refractory or fine-grained sulfide systems, making it a preferred reagent in modern concentrator operations.
Compared with standard Z200 (Sodium Diethyl Dithiocarbamate), Z200A offers:
✔ higher active content
✔ more stable chemisorption
✔ stronger selectivity against pyrite & iron sulfides
✔ better performance in low-grade or fine sulfide ores
Z200A is especially effective in flotation circuits where high concentrate grade, low sulfur, and precise selectivity control are required.
Engineered for demanding flotation environments, Z200A delivers:
• Enhanced selectivity for chalcopyrite, bornite, and precious-metal sulfides
• Stronger pyrite and pyrrhotite rejection compared to standard Z200
• Improved recovery in fine or refractory gold-bearing sulfides
• Superior cleaner-stage performance for high-grade concentrates
• Stable activity across wide pH ranges and variable pulp chemistry
• Excellent synergy with xanthates, dithiophosphates, and DTP-type collectors
Z200A is particularly effective in:
• copper–gold (Cu–Au) flotation
• gold–silver ores with high pyrite levels
• activated sphalerite (CuSO₄-treated zinc ores)
• complex sulfide systems requiring high-grade concentrates
• cleaner flotation stages
• fine-grained or low-grade precious-metal sulfide ores
